Programs & Pillars

Five foundational pillars and three exchange programs connecting students and researchers across the Americas.

The Five Pillars

Pillar 01

STEAM Education

Strengthening interdisciplinary, multicultural science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics education, integrating creative thinking, data visualization and design as core parts of scientific research and communication.

Pillar 02

Active Learning Methodologies

Promoting student-centered active learning strategies: project-based learning (PBL), problem-based learning, and phenomenon-based learning. These foster critical thinking, collaboration and practical application of scientific knowledge.

Pillar 03

Innovation & Scientific Entrepreneurship

Developing skills to transform scientific knowledge into innovative solutions with social impact. Workshops on intellectual property, business models, innovation design and pitch presentations — training professionals capable of leading scientific and technological entrepreneurship projects.

Pillar 04

Access to Graduate Programs

Facilitating concrete pathways to graduate programs at institutions in the U.S., Canada and Latin America. Connecting participants with mentors, admissions teams, funding (including Fulbright) and academic networks that enable student mobility and international professional development.

Pillar 05

STEAM Citizen Diplomats

Training a new generation of leaders committed to hemispheric scientific cooperation, capable of building bridges between institutions, cultures and disciplines as agents of change in their communities — promoting international collaboration and equitable access to educational opportunities.
